Bali Holokai Villa is an architectural jewel set in sunny lower Haiku. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are set apart in private pavilions connected by covered walkways. Special touches include an entry courtyard with privacy gate, miniature Japanese shoji sliding screens, all bamboo flooring, Thai style pitched ceilings, stunning azure color glazed roof tiles, miniature koa wood outrigger canoe, Japanese tansu chest television armoire, granite countertops, mexican tiles, and warm rich color schemes.
Bali Holokai has a contemporary flair with a lovely ocean view kitchen. This home is not recommended for families with young children due to the hillside setting. A caretaker lives on site simply to look after the propery when it is not occupied. Guests are provided with complete privacy as the caretaker does not ordinarily interact with guests unless approached for assistance.
Located within a few minutes drive are the quaint towns of Paia, Haiku and Makawao where salons, spas, yoga schools, restaurants, bars, health food stores, bank, post office, video rental, and all types of conveniences are located. Movie theaters, large grocery stores, big box stores and the airport are only 20 minutes from Haiku. Drive 20 minutes to the Northshore beaches of Baldwin and Hookipa, Paia Bay, Tavares Bay, Mama's Cove and many other ocean access spots. Snorkeling, swimming, boogie boarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing and other water sports are located nearby!
The balmy beach resort areas of Wailea, Kihei, Kaanapali and Kapalua are only 30-60 minutes drive. From Bali Holokai Villa it is possible to enjoy all types of sightseeing day trips around the island. Exotic Hana is a fantastic one day excursion easily launched from the Haiku area.
