Overhead fans blend ocean trade winds with the scent of lush, indigenous flowers. These versatile Cottages sit atop a coastal bluff overlooking Kaihalulu Bay. Here the great outdoors is a breathtaking wonderland waiting to be discovered. The adjoining 4500 acre ranch encourages guests to explore the endless, unblemished horizons of Hana. Ride horses along the Hana seacoast up through the reaches of Haleakala Volcano, where jogging, hiking, and biking along beautiful mountain and seacoast trails are popular activities. Tennis, three-hole practise golf course, beach volleyball, snorkeling, surfing, kayaking and swimming are other refreshing diversions. Beach lovers enjoy the incredible splendor of Hamoa, "the most beautiful beach in the Pacific", according to author James Michener. Beach Club facilities are provided for guests at Hamoa including chaise lounges, towels, restrooms, changing facilities and snack and beverage service. The Hotel's lobby, restaurant, bar, and library are all located in a central building with an open courtyard located only a few minutes stroll from the Cottages. Hana is accessible via a scenic two hour drive or a short twenty minute flight.
