Together, the enchanting architectural design forms a stately residence of more than 5,000 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.
A fish pond with glittering Japanese koi encourages a meditative, restful mood. The living & dining rooms feature expansive views, ceiling fans, rare native Hawaiian Ohia wood floors, and a single dining table large enough for the entire family. The kitchen provides plenty of space for the chef with granite countertops, beautiful cabinetry, 8 burner Wolfe gas range, and Sub Zero fridge.
A courtyard patio is perfect for entertaining and relaxing. There you will find multiple covered dining and lounging pavilions set between colorful gardens of blooming tropicals, as well as a complete outdoor kitchen with sink, fridge, ice maker, and elaborate DCS BBQ.
Our favorite benefit of this wonderful home is the detached media and game pavilion which is thoughtfully placed a comfortable distance from the bedrooms. It has air conditioning, a full-size billiards table, ceiling fans, large screen television, top shelf home theater entertainment system, party bar with sink and fridge, Balinese style day bed big enough for 4 people, down filled chairs, shower bath, and phone.
Within your own private compound enjoy swimming in the infinity edge pool or soak in a free form hot tub spa. While relaxing at home you are surrounded by lush grass lawns, mature gardens, tiki torches, palm trees, and your choice of 3 different hammocks. Shade is provided by natural umbrellas cleverly crafted from bamboo. From the master bedroom, office, pool, spa, dining pavilion, and kitchen and living rooms you gaze out over the golf course, a tranquil fresh water pond, and out towards the blue Pacific.
As you enter the compound you stroll across a lovely grass lawn and meander around the gardens. Suddenly a courtyard opens up in front of you and on the left and right in a large U shape are the multiple living pavilions. The game and media pavilion is off to the far right. Ahead of you over a bridge and past the koi pond is the pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, and central lounging areas. To the left is the master bedroom, office, and 2 guest rooms. To your right are 2 other guest rooms and the living/dining/kitchen pavilion.
The bed and bathrooms were inspired by Balinese and Thai luxury resorts, each with their own bathroom and outdoor shower. 3 bedrooms are master bedrooms with an additional outdoor lounging day bed for private sunning.
The office has a sofa, fax, high speed internet service, and a television with DVD, CD and VCR.
You may walk or drive a very short distance, only a few blocks away, to Black Sand Beach Cove with a public beach and private Residents Only Club House.
