The exceptional swimming pool reflects graceful palm trees which frame the garden. Swim under the stars at night by the light of tiki torches. We love this pool and consider it one of the most attractive and inviting of any vacation home in the islands! During cooler months the pool is heated on a complimentary basis.

The great room of Sea Shells Beach House opens to the outdoor patio and pool and has cathedral ceilings with two lounging areas in addition to an entertainment center with iPod dock, CD surround sound, DVD, VCR and new flat panel LCD television with premium channels and digital reception. The kitchen has just been re-stocked with all new supplies and small appliances commensurate with luxury standards, including an espresso machine, coffee grinder, abundant service ware, red and white wine glasses, champagne flutes, martini glasses, Henckel knives, top quality cookware, and so much more to use and enjoy! In particular, we are fond of the new center-island wood table, expansive granite counters, dual dishwashers and sinks, and large Sub-Zero fridge with ice maker.

Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own private en-suite bathroom and entertainment system. A convenient office nook provides a large desk, ethernet cable to hook into the high speed cable modem, office supply, fax, and brand new multi-function office machine. There are two laundry centers. Use of the garage is available.

The single level design of Seashells Beach House provides very comfortable living for guests with limited physical movement. This property can be enjoyed by guests using a wheelchair although it is not specifically out-fitted for special needs.

A hop and skip from Sea Shells is a beach front kiosk which rents ocean sports equipment including surf boards, boogie boards, skim boards, Hobie cats and snorkel sets. During summer months jet skis may be rented in front of the Hyatt Hotel. A convenient beach front restaurant, Castaway, is adjacent to the kiosk serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual beach front setting. The primary Ka`anapali Resort hotels as well as Whaler's Village Shopping Center and its many restaurants featuring live music on the beach, can be reached within 1-2 minutes by car or on foot if you hike some distance down the beach through the Sheraton Ka`anapali Resort, then along a paved pedestrian walking promenade that hugs the coastal beach. a) Quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the short-term rental home shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area;

b) Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of the short-term rental home is prohibited;

c) Vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street;

d) No parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur;

e) The shoreline area is the property of the people of Hawai' i, and is open for the free use by everyone;

f) Occupancy is for 2 guests per bedroom; and

g) Rental is for one set of guests (family, group, etc.) at a time. Property is not rented at the same time to multiple sets of guests or to unaffiliated persons.

Housekeeping Services Provided A complimentary mid-week housekeeping service is included up to 8 hours if renting for 7 nights or longer, excepting select off-season rate periods. Personal laundry is excluded. Fresh towels are provided, bed linens are changed, trash is removed, supplies are replenished, exterior areas are touched up, and there is a light dusting and vacuum. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. Within the villa there is a laundry room with a washer/dryer, laundry supplies, iron and board. During the Christmas and New Years holiday period, DAILY housekeeping is provided, with the exception that there is no housekeeping service on Christmas Day December 25 and on New Years Day January 1.
Extra Housekeeping Cost Additional a la carte housekeeping service is $40 per hour per housekeeper plus 4.166% GE tax with a 4 hour minimum.. Advance notice is requested. Subject to availability.

Beach & Ocean Access Access to world-famous Ka`anapali Beach is just steps from the house and the beach-side pool. Walk out directly on Ka`anapali Beach, a beautiful golden sand swimming beach that stretches for several miles along the shore in front of Sea Shells. The beach is nearly unparralled and is perfect for lap swimming, long walks, romantic evenings laying under the full moon or glittering stars at water's edge. Situated between Maui Ka`anapali Villas and several new interval ownership resorts, this stretch of Ka`anapali Beach is less crowded than the hotel zone. There are currently 4 homes on 6 contiguous one acre beach front lots on the coast adjacent to Sea Shells.
Pool Sea Shells is blessed with a really fun large lagoon shaped free form swimming pool on the beach side of the property. The pool is not fenced or covered. Guests with young children who do not swim well may wish to consider bringing a pool alarm. The pool is heated to 82 degrees in cooler months. Outdoor Spa Yes! We have added a lovely large 4 to 6 person hot tub spa which is professionally serviced weekly. From the hot tub you can overlook the pool, the sunsets, tiki torches, and out towards the ocean.
Air Conditioning Central air conditioning throughout with multiple zones and ceiling fans in all rooms. BBQ There is a built-in stainless propane BBQ grill, beverage fridge and large counter area under the outdoor covered patio.
Entertainment All bedrooms and the living room have digital cable service with a premium channel selection. The living room has Netflix and a new flat panel LCD television, HD digital cable reception with premium channels, iPod dock, DVD, VCR and CD with surround sound and speaker controls in various rooms of the house.
Dining Indoor oval-shaped wood dining table for 6 guests. Facing the kitchen there are several more casual bar stools at a large semi-circular granite counter. Outdoor patio dining is available under cover or out under the stars by the pool. You are also encouraged to take trays and snack or dine in the sand on the beach at sunset!

LANDSCAPING IS MAINTAINED AS BEST AS POSSIBLE TO PROVIDE PRIVACY FROM PERSONS WALKING ALONG THE PATH. TYPICALLY, IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE THE OCEAN FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE, BUT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE PUBLIC TO SEE SOMEONE LOUNGING BY THE POOL THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE STAGE OF VEGETATION GROWTH AS MAINTAINED BY THE LANDSCAPERS.

Standard Amenities
Most villas typically will be stocked with a barbeque grill, answering machine, alarm clocks, phone, television, video cassette recorder and/or DVD, CD stereo, washer & dryer, iron & board, coffee maker & grinder, microwave, blender, toaster oven, dishwasher, oven, range, ceiling fans, hair dryer, spices & herbs, paper & pen, kitchen supplies such as cookware, glassware, silverware, outdoor furnishings, starter supply of soap, paper, cleaning products and utensils, and dining, bed and bath linens. Usually some beach chairs and towels are provided. Guests often misplace beach towels and chairs therefore an exact inventory is not guaranteed unless reserving a luxury class home. Some homes also provide iPod docks, high speed internet access, wireless networks, fax machine, espresso/cappuccino machine, exercise equipment and other upscale toys. Please inquire if a specific amenity will improve your comfort or convenience.
Amenities Not Included
Provide your own toiletries, slippers, and wrap, however Private Paradise Villas does stock in its managed homes bathrobes and custom toiletries. Recreational equipment, if found on the property is incidental, and is not a guaranteed feature of the house inventory. Boogie Boards, Snorkel Sets, Surf Boards, Kayaks, Bicycles, and other sports equipment can be rented in advance through third party providers. Please inquire with our Concierge for reservations.
Rates Include
Direct local phone, parking (except at condominiums or hotels), Concierge assistance, optional greeting upon arrival, occupancy up to the maximum number of persons allowed, weekly pool/spa service, weekly gardening, post-departure cleaning if not charged separately, extra person fees and housekeeping services as noted up to the stated maximum amount.
Rates Do Not Include
In Hawaii, homes are provided on an a-la-carte basis and most incidental personal services are not included in the rates quoted. Not included are long distance phone (unless a property offers a fixed price monthly unlimited long distance calling plan, security/damage/incidentals/activity deposit, extra guest-requested pool, spa service or yard cleaning, personal laundry, extra housekeeping other than noted, Hawaii State General Excise Tax 4.166%, Hawaii State Transient Accommodations Tax 9.25%, food or beverages, CSA Vacation Rental Insurance, lei greeting, airport greeting, transfers, transportation, auto rental, rental bedding, child care supplies, child proofing services, sightseeing, tours, activities, baggage handling at airport or at villa, sports and water recreation supplies, replenishment of paper & soap products other than initial supply, and any other items or services not specifically listed as included.
Standard Policies
Respect the stated maximum occupancy allowed please! This is very important, as all private homes in our collection are the valuable and beloved second homes of individual private owners. The availability and future right to enjoy our multi-million dollar vacation homes is conditioned upon each guest respecting the owner's pre-disclosed specific terms and conditions. Remove your shoes upon entering your home, as Hawaii's volcanic soil can stain carpets, tile, and fabrics. Step outside to smoke please. No pets on property. Rinse off sand and sun lotions before walking on interior floors sitting on furniture. Sun products will stain upholstery and linens and may damage furnishings. Weddings, receptions, and gatherings are strictly prohibited on any of our properties, due to residential zoning codes which discourage non-residential use, boisterous use causing noise complaints, excessive occupancy causing parking problems in the neighborhood, or any use involving additional non registered guests on the property. Please inquire in advance if you will have other friends or family staying elsewhere on island if you plan to gather at your vacation home as one group. Neighborhood quiet hours are 8pm - 8am.
Cancellation Policy
REFUND & CANCELLATIONS: GUEST UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE INITIAL PAYMENT BY GUEST IS NON-REFUNDABLE, UNLESS THE PROPERTY IS DAMAGED BY A CAUSE OTHER THAN GUEST NEGLIGENCE, OR IF THE PROPERTY IS OTHERWISE RENDERED UNFIT FOR HABITATION AND NO ACCEPTABLE SUBSTITUTE PROPERTY CAN BE ARRANGED. IF GUEST CANCELS THIS RESERVATION, A REFUND OF GUEST'S INITIAL PAYMENT MAY BE MADE, LESS A PRE-DISCLOSED CANCELLATION CHARGE, BASED ON THE GROSS RENTAL AMOUNT AND TAXES ORIGINALLY DUE FOR THE RESERVATION, IF THE ACCOMMODATION IS RE-RESERVED BY ANOTHER PARTY FOR THE SAME DATES AND AT THE SAME RATE. GUEST UNDERSTANDS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT OWNER/AGENT/PROPERTY MANAGER HAS NO OBLIGATION TO RE-RESERVE UPON GUEST'S CANCELLATION, ALTHOUGH REASONABLE EFFORTS MAY BE EXPECTED. LODGING CANCELLATION COVERAGE IS AVAILABLE FROM INDEPENDENT PROVIDERS AND IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THIS RESERVATION MAY BE CANCELLED BY THE OWNER/AGENT/PROPERTY MANAGER, IN THE EVENT THE PROPERTY IS WITHDRAWN FROM A RENTAL PROGRAM AND IN THAT EVENT, THEIR LIABILITY TO THE GUEST IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT OF RENTAL MONIES PAID TO DATE ON THE ACCOUNT, AND SPECIFICALLY DOES NOT COVER THE COST OF AIR TICKETS AND OTHER TRAVEL COSTS.
